S.I.C, Inc. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & KITS FOR CANCER PATIENTS

Cancer strikes in many ways and forms, and there are so many different types of cancer!!!!

SIC, Inc., is a non-profit organization that seeks to educate and empower young women, young men, adults, disabled, ex-offenders, veterans, teens, cancer survivors, etc. We offer a positive mentoring program that builds strong character promoting self-confidence, self-esteem, and more in the people we serve, and restore a healthy future for their lives, and their families.

Your mother, father, brother, sister, friend, boss, grandparent, maybe you. Pick one, chances are one of you will be diagnosed with cancer. It’s indiscriminate. Can you believe that every year 14 million of us are told the inevitable words, “YOU? HAVE. CANCER.” There are so many different types of cancer, at least 100 different types of cancer to be exact, cancer affecting various parts of the body. Each type of cancer is unique with its own causes, symptoms, and methods of treatment.  Here are just a few, AIDS-Related Cancer, Bladder Cancer, Bone Cancer, Brain Cancer, Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Colon Cancer, Esophageal Cancer, Gastrointestinal Cancer, Kidney Cancer, Leukemia, Liver Cancer, Lung Cancer, Lymphoma, Melanoma, Mesothelioma, Ovarian Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Renal Cell Cancer, Skin Cancer, Thyroid Cancer, and other forms not listed.

Also, we are wanting to provide “Kits for Cancer Patients. These kits are designed to help people the minute they are diagnosed with cancer. The Kits are important because they provide them all the essential things that thousands of people who went before them wished they had known the moment they were told the words “you have cancer.” I am all too familiar with Cancer.

It is a beautifully packaged, gift of love made by patients for patients, that simply tells someone with cancer that you are there for them in a way that a card, flowers, or fluffy animal will never do. This is important because by giving someone a kit you are showing them that you know exactly what they actually need to get through the treatment regime they are going to be facing every day. You are introducing them to a community of people who truly care, who went through cancer before and want to give something back.

It is our yearly goal to raise $3,000,000 for the SIC, Inc. Cancer Financial Assistance program.

Donate and help SIC, Inc. make a financial difference to those facing the costly hardship of cancer treatments, medications, and so much! As a way to give back and remember cancer patients who have lost the battle, and those who are survivors, we want to take this opportunity to raise awareness and funding for cancer research, also. So in lieu of this campaign, we’re asking people to donate to the SIC cancer research campaign. All contributions are tax-deductible and 100% of the funds received will go to the SIC cancer research program.
